It is another prodigious date for bettors. It eight days before the Kentucky Derby as well as Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in the latest “Fight of the Century.” But the bettors’ cash cow NHL and NBA playoffs and yet another money-spinning MLB season for bettors takes place first.

The Houston Rockets are at the Dallas Mavericks. Though Dallas opened as a (-1.5) point favorite, the game is now down to a pick ‘em and a total of 215.5, up a point and a half from when the sportsbooks originally posted. The detail that 69 percent of bettors support Houston may illuminate on the live move reason. Additionally 58 percent are wagering on the under at Las Vegas and offshore sportsbooks.

Because the public generally fancies betting on the over, the aforesaid percentage is eye opening.

The Toronto Raptors head to the Nation’s Capital south of their border to take on the Wizards. The organization formally known as the Bullets are laying (-4.5) with a total of 193.5. The point spread has climbed from three but the total plummeted 1.5 from the first posted total. The Wizards are getting 71 percent of spread bets with 60/40 on the over.

In the most anticipated series of the opening round, the Clippers are at the Spurs. After debuting as (-3.5) point favorites, San Antonio is now laying five with a total at 203.5, also down 1.5. Fifty-eight percent are betting on the chalk with 69 percent putting their money on the over.

The NHL playoffs has three home teams all big favorites: The New York Rangers over Pittsburgh, Montreal over Ottawa, and St. Louis over Minnesota.
