The Kentucky Derby morning line is posted. American Pharoah is the slight 3/1 favorite to take home the first leg of Thoroughbred’s Triple Crown, the Run for the Roses. Dortmund is just a neck behind at 4/1, followed by Carpe Diem at 8/1.

It gets quite bunched up at that point with Firing Line, Frosted, Materiality, and Mubtaahij all at 14/1. There is another deep drop-off with International Star at 24/1, trailed by Ocho Ocho Ocho and Upstart each at 25/1.

Just as bettors are collecting their long shot winners from Grandmaster Sports Handicapper Joe Duffy of the loser-goes-home Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference NBA playoffs has the Los Angeles Clippers mild 2.5 home favorites to the San Antonio Spurs with a total of 204.
